Pakistan's 4G Internet Speed Is One Of The Lowest In The World

Few days back a report of Open Signal reveled few disappointing facts about the cellular industry of Pakistan. According to this report Pakistan's 4G LTE internet speed is the 4th lowest in the world, followed by Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica and at the very last, Iran.
Pakistan's average 4G LTE speed about 4Mbps which is slight higher than the speed of 3G which is 3.5 Mbps. In this report Singapore and South Korea are on top, Singapore in term of Speed (with average speed of 37 LTE) and South Korea in term of coverage (with the LTE coverage of 99.6%) while Global average speed for 4G LTE networks is gauged at 13Mbps.

Whereas in term of coverage Pakistan's position is quite good with 58%,  higher than many developed countries like Germany, France Italy, Malaysia and many other.

Pakistan vs India 4G LTE Speed and Coverage:

According to this report India's average 4G LTE speed is about 13Mbps which is much higher than Pakistan whereas in term of 4G LTE coverage Pakistan has higher rank with 58% than India with 49% coverage.

Conclusion:

In nut shell these results are very much disappointing. When world is moving toward 5G we are still striving for reasonable 4G internet speed. But on the other hand these results only show one side of the picture, to evaluate the speed and service properly, price should also be considered in this comparison.
